LCP wins European Pensions Consultancy of the Year 2010
1 July 2010
LCP fought off strong competition to win the award by demonstrating growth in key European locations, unrelenting client commitment and success in highlighting pensions as a key cross-border strategic issue for multi-nationals. Areas where LCP stood out included the development of its leading-edge UK asset allocation tool, LCP JAZZ, for other European markets; thought leadership such as its European Pensions Briefing and Irish Pensions Accounting Briefing; and its range of client seminars and conferences across Europe..
The past year has also seen LCP launch a new Swiss investment consulting subsidiary (LCP Asalis); grow its international network in France, Spain, Japan and Brazil; and advising clients on buyout transactions in the Netherlands as well as the UK.
According to the judges, LCP impressed with "the significant in-roads they have made into the European pensions space in the last year; coupled with their innovation, excellence and commitment to their clients. The judges were particularly impressed by what LCP had achieved in relation to raising the issue of pensions as a key cross-border strategic issue for multinationals."
Alex Waite, UK Partner and International Director, said: "We're delighted to have won this award, which recognises our commitment to meeting client needs and delivering the best possible service, an approach which has won us a large number of new clients across Europe in 2009. We do not believe you need to be the biggest firm to be successful - our clients come to us and stay with us because they value our innovative ideas and trusted, independent, partner-led advice."
The awards ceremony was hosted by comedienne Ruby Wax, and was held on 1 July at the Lancaster London Hotel.
